For 38 or more states to call for a convention to achieve parity between the States and the National Government by restoring the U.S. Constitution as the Governing Document for America.

Short term:

  • Restore the concept that people on behalf of their States delegate enumerated powers to a National Government

  • Once a convention is called, the first Amendment of an Article V Convention must be one that opens the door for States to more easily convene Conventions

Long term:

  • Sustain parity between the States and the National Government

  • Educate the public on the rationale and civics related to a Constitutional Republic

These goals are sensitive to certain factors:

  • A window of opportunity to converge disparate efforts

  • The need for sufficient resources

  • Being sensitive to incentives and disincentives to approaching legislators

  • Timing (being sensitive to election years)
